Job Description:
Our client, a Bermuda based insurance company, is seeking a Fund Accountant. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and the main responsibilities are as follows:

Daily reconciliation of multi-currency cash accounts.
Reconciliation of outstanding investment transactions.
Placement of investment trades.
Daily posting & updating of investment administration system
Timely position reconciliation of all investment accounts
Opening and maintenance of bank and investment accounts.
Monthly pricing of all investment holdings
Production of monthly and quarterly investment-linked life and annuity policy valuations.
Ongoing maintenance of investment and insurance files and databases.
Other projects and tasks as assigned from time to time.

Candidates must have a university degree in a related field, a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in an investment accounting or administrative role, in-depth knowledge of securities, general knowledge of life insurance administration, and in depth knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly excel.
