Life in Bermuda

Cars are limited in Bermuda by a one car per household rule, and there are size restrictions as well. Many new arrivals start off with a moped, which is an easy way to get around, park and beat traffic.  For those who are not ready for a bike, the public bus and ferry systems are very good.  Most residents will end up buying a car, but because they are relatively expensive, you might want to try other options first. The good news?  If you’re used to two-hour commutes, most commutes in Bermuda are less than 30 minutes, and often much less!
